Breaking: Imran Khan Addresses Nation : Says Still Ready To Co-operate
Wednesday ( 27/02/19): Pakistan’s Prime minister Imran Khan addressed the nation through a press conference and said that Pakistan is still ready to co-operate and defuse the tension between both the nuclear-armed nations.
He has also asked India for a dialogue as hostilities between the two nations spiked this morning following an engagement between the air forces. During his speech he gave references of miscalculations of war done during both the world wars, miscalculation by America in matters of Afghanistan and Vietnam.
Imran Khan also claimed that two of the IAF’s pilots are with them in Pakistan and were captured after the planes have been shot down after they violated their air space.
He said even now there is a chance of peace between us and if this situation escalates further then neither he nor the India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi can help.
His comments came minutes after the external affairs ministry in New Delhi said that PAF ( Pakistan Air Force ) tried to target military bases along the border and thus necessary precautionary actions have been taken. Unfortunately during this action, one IAF plane has been shot down and the pilot is missing.
