Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree First Look Out! Inspired By Nun??
The first look of Shraddha Kapoor‘s upcoming horror comedy Stree is out. But the movie first look has been criticized by fans for not showing creativity because of the look being straight-forward copy of “The Nun” from conjuring series.
There are chances that they have intentionally taken references from the nun from the popular horror franchise the conjuring series. The film also stars Rajkummar Rao in the lead role.
Directed by Amar Kaushik and being produced by Dinesh Vijan and Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, who have also written the film, the story revolves around the urban legend of ‘Nale Ba’ that went infamous in Karnataka during the 1990s. The myth says that a witch would come knocking at people’s doors at night, imitate a family member’s voice to trick the ones inside to open the door.
Whoever opened the door would die. The people began writing ‘Nale Ba (come tomorrow)’ on their doors to ward her away, until she came back the next day. “It’s the first time that I am doing a horror comedy. It was a lot of fun and Rajukummar Rao is such a fantastic actor. To work with him was a dream come true. I got so much to learn from him,” Shraddha said. The movie is will be released on 31 August.
