Oppo Find X: Price & Specifications

After Vivo displayed its futuristic smartphone concept by first unveiling the Vivo Apex with its unique motorized camera and then bringing it down to production in the name of Vivo Nex, Now Oppo has brought its apex competitor – The Oppo Find X. Before going into details let me tell you that While Vivo just had a simple pop-up camera box, Oppo is taking things to the next level and has the entire top of the phone extend upward via a motorized contraption. oppo find x price This amazing design from Oppo has an allscreen design — it has a 6.4-inch curved OLED screen with a screen-to-body ratio of 92.2%. Look around the phone and you won’t see a camera module or any sensors anywhere.   So where are the cameras? Everything is hidden in a motorised pop-up system that comes up when you’re unlocking the phone (face unlock) or when you launch the camera app. Up front is a 25MP camera with iPhone X-style 3D facial scanning systems (dot projector, flood illuminator etc) while the rear has a dual 16 + 20MP camera setup. The top slider stays closed most of the time, which has the fun side effect of protecting the front and back camera lenses from smudges or scratches. The top opens whenever you open the camera app or whenever you need to authenticate yourself via the O-Face system. There’s no fingerprint sensor, so you’re relying on face unlock for everything. This means just turning on the phone will make the top open, scan your face, and then close. The good news is that this happens relatively quickly—in about a half-second. The device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 845 processor chip, supported by an Adreno 630 GPU. It comes with an 8GB RAM and 512GB internal storage which can further expanded via microSD card to 400GB. It runs on ColorOS 5.1, which is based on Android 8.1.

On the camera side, the device sports dual-rear cameras with 16MP + 20MP setup. The AI-enabled camera sensors have an aperture ratio of f/2.0 for an enhanced photography experience. The sensors come with OIS technology for better stability and depth-of-field effects. It has a 25MP 3D front camera with an aperture rate of f/2.0 for selfies and video calling. Additionally, the cameras have features such as geotagging, touch focus, HDR, panorama, etc.
